Continental Basketball League (CBL) is the leading form of sports entertainment in Africa. Modeled after the National Basketball Association (NBA), CBL is a privately owned professional basketball league that combines fast-paced basketball with flashy lifestyle and entertainment to produce a winning game. CBL is currently comprised of 6 teams in West and Central Africa, with a goal to grow to 20 teams by 2020. Teams travel from country to country to play games, helping to boost economies, by creating game- day jobs and promoting sports tourism.
